Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

A welcoming space to feel understood, build meaningful skills, and move forward with confidence.

At Full Circle Counseling and Wellness, we believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up as your whole self. You don't need to have everything figured out, know exactly what to say, or arrive with a clear plan. Whether you're navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we're here to help you find your way forward.

We offer individual, couples, and family counseling for Pennsylvania residents ages 6 and older, with in-person appointments in Havertown and convenient virtual therapy options throughout the state.

Our approach is grounded in a simple belief: Meaningful change happens when you feel understood, supported, and empowered to try something different.

What Makes Therapy at Full Circle Different?

Real Connection. Practical Skills. Meaningful Change.

We know that finding the right therapist is about more than credentials or treatment approaches. It's about finding someone you can trust, someone who listens without judgment, takes your concerns seriously, and helps you make sense of what you're experiencing.

Our clinicians bring warmth, curiosity, compassion, and clinical expertise into the therapy room. We take time to understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, and goals rather than treating you as a collection of symptoms.

We also believe therapy should offer more than a place to talk. While being heard and validated is essential, we want you to leave with greater insight, practical tools, and a growing sense of confidence in your ability to navigate life's challenges.

You can expect therapy that is

Evidence-Based Care With a Human Touch

Our clinicians are skilled in evidence-based therapeutic interventions, with a particular emphasis on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed care.

DBT-informed therapy helps people develop practical skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. These tools can be especially valuable when navigating overwhelming emotions, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, and the unexpected challenges of everyday life.

We also recognize that meaningful therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Our clinicians draw from complementary therapeutic approaches based on your needs, preferences, and goals.

We believe the most effective care combines clinical knowledge with authentic human connection. Sometimes that means learning a new skill or examining an unhelpful pattern. Other times, it means making room for difficult emotions, exploring a new perspective, or finding the courage to approach something differently.

Our goal isn't to change who you are. It's to help you better understand yourself, strengthen what already works, and create more flexibility and possibility in your life.

Support for Individuals, Couples, and Families

Life's challenges don't happen in isolation. Our relationships, environments, identities, and experiences all influence how we feel and function.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, we work collaboratively to identify what matters most and develop a path forward.

Individual Therapy: A space to explore your experiences, navigate emotional challenges, build coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more meaningful and manageable.

Couples Counseling: Support for strengthening communication, navigating conflict, rebuilding connection, and understanding patterns that may be keeping your relationship stuck.

Family Therapy: A collaborative environment to improve understanding, strengthen relationships, navigate transitions, and develop healthier ways of communicating and supporting one another.

We welcome children ages 6 and older, adolescents, and adults at different stages of life.

A Comfortable Space, Designed With You in Mind

We believe your therapy environment matters. From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel comfortable, welcomed, and able to focus on what brought you here.

Our office is conveniently located at 2000 Old West Chester Pike, 2nd Floor, Havertown, PA 19083, with easy parking and access to the second floor by stairs or elevator.

Prefer to meet from home? We also offer secure virtual appointments for clients located throughout Pennsylvania, allowing you to access care in a setting that works for your life.

Whether we're meeting in person or online, our priority remains the same: creating a supportive, respectful environment where you can do meaningful work.

We're proud to offer a space where evidence-based treatment and compassionate, person-centered care go hand in hand.

Meet Our Clinicians

Emily Koppenhofer, LPC

I believe therapy is a space to better understand ourselves, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build the skills to navigate life's uncertainties with greater flexibility and self-compassion.

My approach is humanistic, person-centered, and DBT-informed, with a particular interest in perfectionism, overcontrol, emotional regulation, and the ways our desire for certainty can sometimes keep us feeling stuck. I bring warmth, humor, curiosity, and gentle challenges into our work together, helping clients develop practical skills while exploring deeper questions about identity, relationships, and what makes life meaningful.

Outside of therapy, you'll often find me exploring the Wissahickon with my dog, Mina, browsing a bookstore or record shop, watching horror movies, or enjoying a well-crafted latte. I value authenticity, connection, and lifelong curiosity, both in and outside the therapy room.
